Lares – Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu

This trek will give you the opportunity to get in touch with the Andean nature on one side and Andean culture on the other side.

The trek goes from the natural hot springs of Lares past passes, lakes and farmlands. The Andean landscapes are breathtaking. You will see animals, plants and flowers and have amazing views on the valley’s surrounding glaciers. We visit various authentic textile Quechua communities.

The Lares trek is a good alternative for the original Inca Trail, as on the last day a visit to Machu Picchu is included. The grade of difficulty is moderate.
